The 27th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival, in collaboration with COSMOTE TV, presents the world premiere of an episode of a series Mysterious Deaths in Ancient Greece that retraces some of the greatest mysteries of the ancient world. Olympias, a princess of royal blood, married King Philip II, gave birth to Alexander the Great, and ended up ruling the kingdom of Macedonia. Raised in a maledominated society, she prevailed against her opponents and imposed her will. How is it that such a powerful woman faced such a horrible death in the end?
